Net Zero Events: Strategies and Solutions

The events sector generates around £70 billion to the UK economy with corporate events including congresses, exhibitions, conferences, annual general meetings and brand experiences representing around £40 billion. The sector is unregulated and action is needed to introduce sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impact of events. Here, Anna Abdelnoor, CEO of ISLA, highlights the challenges around sustainability in the event sector.
